Perched above the Pacific Beach Boardwalk is Waterbar, a 6,700-square-foot beachside eatery. The floor to ceiling windows showcase unparalleled ocean views and is the perfect backdrop to a seafood-forward menu inspired by East Coast, West Coast and Baja Coastal cuisine. The “Social Seafood” fresh dining experience at Waterbar captures the heart & soul of sunny San Diego and features fresh shellfish, locally caught specialties, premium beef selections and farmer’s market favorites. Chef Steven Lona has introduced an innovative menu that transforms well known coastal classics into unique and delicious renditions.
Waterbar’s open air atmosphere embraces the obvious; a panoramic view of San Diego’s most spectacular coastlines. The event space options include clusters of beach front table dining, partial venue buyout receptions for 200 guests, intimate VIP Bottle Service Tables as well as full venue buyout options. Private event space is available for groups of 30 to 600+ guests.
Watebar offers a variety of prefixed dining options that can be customized to suit a casual cocktail reception, social gathering or a formal corporate dinner. Our highly experienced, award winning culinary team is experienced in customizing a dining experience that will surpass your guests expectations and establish the “OMG” component into your next event.
SUNSET CORNER
This open air beach front dining space features floor to ceiling windows that capture the beauty of Southern California’s pristine coastline. This flexible dining space combines high top communal tables with comfortable leather seating that can accommodate groups of 30 to 50 guests. The windows open to fully enjoy the breezy Pacific Ocean views.
EXPANDED SUNSET CORNER
For groups hosting a cocktail reception for up to 100 guests, Waterbar can expand the southwest dining space to include a full service private bar that specializes in local craft beer brands, award winning wine selections and hand crafted cocktails. This space can seat up to 75 guests and is the perfect backdrop for a Southern California Celebration.
PARTIAL VENUE BUYOUT
The Partial Venue Buyout event space at Waterbar features a large full service bar, spectacular beach front views, full AV options including multiple large flat screen televisions available for branding opportunities as well as reception space for 200+ guests. This private space can seat up to 125 guests and includes expandable windows that open up to enjoy the breezy coastal scene of Pacific Beach and San Diego’s iconic Crystal Pier.
